ESOTERIC RECORDINGSis pleased to announce the release of the first album by composer, arranger and keyboard player DAVID BEDFORD, Nurses Songwith Elephants. Recorded at Marquee studios in London, the album was released on John Peel sDandelion label in 1972. At the time Bedford was reaching a wider public through his work with Kevin Ayers (as a member of Ayers group The Whole World), and also as an arranger working with Roy Harper and The Edgar Broughton Band among others. For his first album David Bedford engaged the services of Kevin Ayers (who provided vocals on Sad and Lonely Faces ), Mike Oldfield and John Peel.
