Sick Of It All is an unstoppable worldwide force in hardcore punk. Formed in the fledging New York Hardcore scene back in 1986, Last Act Of Defiance is the 10th full-length studio offering from the band. Having maintained the same lineup since 1992, Sick Of It All's impact will be forever felt. Last Act Of Defiance was produced by legendary Danish producer Tue Madsen (The Haunted, Heaven Shall Burn, August Burns Red), and contains 14 anthems of heartfelt, no-frills, no-holds-barred hardcore. "We write about frustrations a lot," says drummer Armand Majidi. "Maybe it's because we're older and have a keener sense of the matrix, but the blatant alliance between world government and media has given us a wealth of issues to draw from. There have always been bands that deliberately write shallow, meaningless lyrics, which appeal to shallow people, or funny lyrics that appeal to the willfully ignorant. If it seems like we're one of the only bands left indignant and discontented with the big picture, then music around us has stopped being revolutionary."
