With a childhood spent singing, dancing and playing the piano Marli began her songwriting career in her early teens. At 17, she left school and started attending drama college in London. Songwriting remained of paramount importance and thus saw a move to NYC to work with Dave Gahan from Depeche Mode. After a years of major label madness, the now multi instrumentalist Marli was introduced to the hugely successful Goldust production team who began work on co-producing her debut album. Including the Radio 2 Single Of The Week "It's Called A Heart".
