RESCUE CO NO1 who were formed from the ashes of Orange Air were a five piece group who made some fine 70's singles which were released on a number of labels due to licensing deals (RAK,RCA, DJM and JAM). The singles were written by Arnold/Martin and Morrow aka BUTTERSCOTCH also known as a production team called AMMO. In the early 70's the radio hit "Life’s Too Short" was released on RAK Records and Alan Freeman once played the song twice on his radio show-so smitten was he with the track! Some tracks were also release under the pseudonym group name such as SCARECROW and the band vocalist also released a solo single which the band played on "Nothing But The Best" in 1973. The band toured the UK including support slots with CHRISTIE and released a steady stream of pop, glam singles but the elusive Hit single never happened and by 1975 it was all over and the band had split. Enjoy many tracks that have never been released on CD before and are very collectable.
MUSICIANS RON ARCHER, MALCOLM GREEN, DENIS DOEL, STEVE TALBOT, DEL REEKS, DAVE HUNTER
